Validator FAQ

Common feed validation questions.

A feed validator checks your product data against Google Merchant Center, Meta Catalog, and TikTok Shop requirements. It flags missing attributes, formatting problems, and disapproval risks before you submit your feed to any channel.

Paste your feed URL or upload a CSV/XML/TSV file above, select your target channel (Google Shopping, Meta, or TikTok), and click "Check My Feed for Errors". You will receive a prioritized error report within seconds.

The most frequent errors include missing GTIN or brand, invalid price format, missing product images, incorrect availability values, short or duplicate titles, and missing google_product_category. Our validator checks for all of these.

This free product feed checker validates against Google Shopping (Merchant Center), Meta/Facebook Catalog, and TikTok Shop CSV requirements. NextFeed supports 100+ channel export templates for paid plans.

We support XML, CSV, and TSV product feed files. These are the standard formats accepted by Google Merchant Center, Meta, TikTok Shop, and most other advertising channels.

The free validator handles feed files up to 10 MB. For larger catalogs or automated recurring validation, start a NextFeed trial and validate through synced catalog operations.

No account is required. Enter your email to receive the validation report. If you want ongoing automated feed monitoring and error prevention, you can start a free NextFeed trial afterward.

You receive a report listing critical errors, warnings, and optimization hints. Each issue includes what is wrong and how to fix it. For automated fixes, NextFeed can apply feed rules, remap fields, and monitor feed health continuously.

If your feed URL is behind Cloudflare bot protection or a firewall, our validator cannot access it. To work around this, either whitelist our server IP, temporarily disable bot protection for the feed path, or download the feed file and upload it directly instead of using the URL option.

Timeouts happen when your feed URL takes too long to respond — usually because the server is slow, the file is very large, or a CDN/firewall is throttling the request. Try uploading the file directly, or check that your feed URL responds within 30 seconds.

We only support HTTPS feed URLs. HTTP links are not accepted because they transmit data without encryption, which is a security risk. Google Merchant Center also requires HTTPS for feed URLs. If your feed is served over HTTP, update your server to support HTTPS or upload the file directly.

The free validator supports feed files up to 10 MB. If your product feed is larger, you can split it into smaller files, or sign up for a NextFeed trial where we handle catalogs of any size through direct store integrations.

Validate once, or prevent forever.

NextFeed turns validation findings into automated feed rules, channel mapping, and ongoing catalog health monitoring.
